Glass wool belongs to a category of glass fibers and is a man-made inorganic fiber. Glass wool is a material made of molten glass to form cotton. Its chemical composition is glass. It is an inorganic fiber. , The chemical properties are stable.

Glass wool is a product made of centrifugal glass wool felt, which is processed by Owens Corning (OC)'s unique patented centrifugal technology, fibrillating molten glass and adding an environmentally friendly formula binder based on thermosetting resin. It is an elastic felt-like body made of glass fibers with a diameter of only a few microns, and different moisture-proof veneers can be selected online for compounding according to the requirements of use. It has a large number of tiny air pores, which make it play the role of thermal insulation, sound absorption and noise reduction, and safety protection. It is one of the best materials for thermal insulation, sound absorption and noise reduction of steel structure buildings.

Glass wool belongs to a category of glass fibers and is a man-made inorganic fiber. Using quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other natural ores as the main raw materials, with some soda ash, borax and other chemical raw materials to melt into glass. In the melted state, it is blown into flocculent fine fibers by means of external force blowing, and the fibers are three-dimensionally intersected and intertwined with each other, showing many small gaps. Such gaps can be seen as pores. Therefore, glass wool can be regarded as a porous material with good thermal insulation and sound absorption properties.
